SETTING AN EXAMPLE OF GIVING

Every senior class at Mount Vernon is asked to participate philanthropically, by making a donation to the MV Fund in the form of a “Class of” gift. This year’s seniors were each asked for $20.18, representing their year of graduation. Led by senior prefects Megan Lienau, Grace McCarthy, Sarah Traurig, Julia Willingham, and Maquie Weiss, 54% of their class have already made a contribution to the Fund, collectively raising $887.92. This is the most successful senior giving campaign to date.

We are grateful to the Class of 2018 for their leadership in laying the groundwork for student philanthropy at Mount Vernon and leaving a legacy of generosity at the School.

To each other, for each other, and with each other

As a community, Mount Vernon families, faculty, staff, and students give. To each other, for each other, and with each other.  When everyone leans in to say “Yes,” together, the possibilities are endless.

With an annual fund, a capital campaign, and the Mustang Rally fundraiser, the Mount Vernon community has stepped up and out to give back to the School.
